I wanted a backup mechanical "key" to use as a failsafe in case something happened to the electronic paddles mentioned elsewhere.  I had some brass stock in the shop along with small pieces of plastic and thin FR-4.  Those, and a couple of hours in the shop, produced this piece.  It's rugged, small, light, and it works well.
