"Rick was a great man"

The biggest impression Rick left on me was all that I got from him.  Over the 18 years we spent sharing a bedroom as brothers, we shared a love of Science Fiction, of "tinkering",  of reading, or outer space, of airplanes, of steam trains.  He introduced me to many of those things and more.  I doubt it was his intent, but he introduced to me many aspects of my life that now define me.  He showed me the greatest loves and passions of my life.

Though we didn't always agree on things, I have and will always appreciate all he gave me.
